Project 365: Day 296

Yup. Winter seems to be here. Supposed to be more of the same all week, which means boots to keep the slush out and a tuque to keep my ears warm.

It looks like winter has arrived. Woke up to a blanket of snow this morning, with flurries all day. Really didn't make me want to leave the condo or even get out of bed! Needless to say, I spent today indoors, catching up on some reading and just relaxing at home.

Project 365: Day 268

Foggy Fort McMurray morning. One of the interesting things about living in the valley itself is the amount of fog that rolls in the morning, and disappears by the afternoon. If you drive up the hill in the morning, you start off seeing very little in the fog, and then you suddenly emerge into clear blue skies. As cold as it looked, it turned out to be a beautiful afternoon!
