The more I think about it, the more that I want to buy a sewing machine and learn how to make some of these things. Maybe even branch out to learn how to make some of my basic clothes! Here is a simple tutorial for zippered bags, following the link. I'm thinking I could do this by hand, and have cases for my pencils and markers, and a new updated one for my makeup!
