Great way to integrate a place for your office when you don't necessarily have a lot of space to do it in! I might have to try the first one in my place, as I have a big space between the couch and the kitchen area...

I love peeking at other people's spaces and drawing inspiration from where they work to design my own space one day. I love the setup above, I want a space full of light that I can work in every day!

A new set of wallpapers by Jill Malek draws inspiration from some everyday things that occur with city life. This one is voyageur, which I find really neat as it is based on route maps for airplanes. Art can be the everyday, just a matter of where you look for it.

Sometimes it's just a little walk to clear your head. I went for a walk to the Snye today and just sat and watched the water. Even with some of the noise, it was easy to just ignore the background and just sit there and think. It was a nice change of pace, and was most welcome today.

Spring cleaning today, perhaps a few weeks late. I moved the big jewelry box to by the window and the cat has found a new favourite perch. Loving the contrast of the cat against the red box, and of course the cat's expression!
Have seen and heard all the hype about Frye boots and how they last a long time and wear great, but I'm still not convinced to go and buy them yet! Love how this one is dressed down and still looks great, and I imagine just as good dressed up with a shift dress and colourful tights!

Today was a bit of a mishmash day, starting with a pre-screening at the clinic to see if I was a candidate for laser eye surgery. Then the gym, a farewell for a friend, and then home again to relax and enjoy the start of the weekend.

Tried out the newest Japanese restaurant in town, and started with the beef yaki udon. Had the 50mm mounted and had such a hard time getting in a good clear shot in the very limited space I had. Perhaps it's time to switch back to the 35mm?
I love the pale flooring that is in this office. It reminds me more of a studio space, where I could have space to do more computer related things, and then to just turn around and have space to create with my hands.
