Ink and Textile Design

Brushwork that makes you think that this would work well on a piece of clothing. I love the bold and delicate strokes that give it so much movement and density.

Fast Eddie's Barber Shop

A great take on branding a classic American barbershop. I enjoy the starkness of the branding and the simplicity. Well done!

Coffee/Tea Lab Concept

An interesting and unique take on a percolator system for both tea and coffee. While I'm not sure that it is the most practical, it's definitely eye catching and a lovely design. Simple and elegant.

Love this take on a movie poster... now what is this and who are they? Perhaps a movie or musicians, so now to go look for the answers...

1 Litre Water

I admit, I'm probably the first one who would buy a beverage based on its looks, rather than it's contents. This has happened with many a bottle of wine, hah!

A great post found here, with some interesting and memorable beverage packaging designs. I would probably buy some of these if I came across them on the store, particularly this 1 litre water.

Is There a Science to Picking Colours?

I had heard of Quora, but I had not been very interested in reading in it until now. Here's an interesting article on whether there is science behind colour theory and how it is used. Lots of different viewpoints and some tips and tricks for designers too. Perhaps I will be signing up and reading through this site more often!

Super fun design and looks comfortable too! The standout thing isn't really just the nest of pillows, but that oversized desk lamp that is just awesome in this space!

Woodblock Letter Table

What a beautiful find, I would love to find a table like this to replace the one that we've got  right now! Just a piece of glass on top to keep the dust and crumbs out and it would be perfect!

Intricate Mask

I love the look of this mask, reminds me so much of when we were wandering the streets of Venice last  October as they had many of these and the intricate hand-painted ones!

Inspiring Studio Spaces

Great studio spaces involving lots of colour and bright personality. I miss having a separate space for my work... right now I'm relegated to the kitchen as there is limited table space!

Feltron Reports

This is really incredible to read through, just for the simple graphics that capture so many different elements of his life or of other information that he has in his possession. It makes you wonder what kind of stories you can tell if you only pay a little more attention to the daily workings of your life and put it down on paper! Worth a shot to try and do this one year, I wonder how it will turn out...?

Creative Crosswalks

Crosswalks are seen all over the world, so why not jazz them up a little bit! Here's an example in Warsaw, where they painted piano keys for Chopin's 200th anniversary of his birth. There are some other fun ones that follow the link as well including a zebra zebra crossing!
