The Lost Art of Hand Lettering

It's probably true that in this generation, more and more people leave paper for the computer screen. I know that I'm one of them, and my art by hand suffers. Even if I have been taking some time to try and rectify it, photography has been my medium of late and is largely a digital art.

The one of the simplest of mediums is chalk, which is also quite ephemeral in nature as well. Coming back as a stylistic element and medium for some illustrators and letterers as part of vintage decor, I thought these videos in the link were quite interesting. The end result is amazing, and the process and time required is also mesmerizing to watch.
