Sketchbook Favours
Love the idea of sketchbooks as favours, really they are just a book for everything. Practical and personal. We toyed with the idea as well, but went with a different idea in the end.

Good Morning Beautiful, Good Morning Handsome
Love these, and it's pretty much what we say to each other every day. Must keep them in mind for later =)

Tiffany Chairs and Candles
Oh, how beautiful and graceful. I love the tiffany chairs, and the giant candles that slightly illuminate the wedding aisle. Add in the bare strung up lights, and the giant steel windows and I love it!
As a side note, I really did want tiffany chairs for my reception, but we couldn't move out the restaurant chairs and make it work. Too bad, as I think they are quite gorgeous and minimalistic for a wedding and just an elegant understatement.

Back to our regular programming...
Back from the honeymoon now, and still recollecting myself and hoping to get back to regular posting again soon. I'll be having a few posts about the wedding and pictures from the honeymoon interspersed part of my normal design/art/fashion related posts. Took over 2500 pictures on my travels as we got to 11 cities in 19 days! Lots and lots of fun, so I'll post some recaps as I post pictures for each of the cities.
Speaking of back, this photo is of my hair on my wedding day. Nice, simple set that worked well with my red dress as well as my strapless sweetheart white dress. Great photo taken by my cousin with my camera!

Fingerprint Wedding Rings
Intermittent posts this week and probably none over the few after that, it's going to be a busy time leading up to the wedding!
These are our wedding rings, customized with a fingerprint from each of us in the other's ring. We wanted something simple for everyday wear, that has a small personal touch to it and was excited when we found these!
By Brent and Jessica Williams, fantastic service by them and their team!

Mad Lib Guest Book
I love this, I remember the days of playing Mad Gab as a child! I think I just might have to steal this idea for myself. Getting married in less than 2 weeks! Only have to do centrepieces and programs to go!

Balloon Prints Wedding Guestbook
Thinking of ideas for my guestbook, the wedding is coming up really soon! This is a fun one, I'm undecided about using a tree for prints or something like this. I just don't want to end up with a guestbook I'll never look at again!

Wedding Invitations - Red, Charcoal and Silver
Finally complete and sent out! Just a bit of the mess that I encountered, my poor kitchen has seen cleaner days!

Silver and White Tablescape
I love this simple and elegantly decorated table. The table runner is nice and strong, and balanced by some equally delicate and heavy pieces. The bare table just adds to the starkness of the setting.

Centrepiece Inspirations
The pieces of the wedding puzzle are slowly coming together. I finally found a dress (after, I think, trying on 50+ dresses and browsing over 15 stores), so the hard part is done! Note for any brides out there - looking 6 months before the wedding is generally difficult, particularly if you are going to buy, luckily I found one that I will be renting.
Now, onwards to the more fun pieces! Our wedding colours are black, red and silver with the loose theme of cities and trees - so here's the idea that will likely be driving what we do for the centrepieces.
